NDR Chamber Music Concert / Martin Fröst

»As a clarinettist, Mozart is your life,« says the current Artist in Residence of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra. After all, it was his encounter with the great Viennese classic’s clarinet concerto that led Martin Fröst to take up his instrument at the age of nine. Since then, the Swede has developed an enormous repertoire, premiered numerous new works, ventured into remote regions of the classical music world – and yet he always returns to Mozart.
