Quatuor Arod

A first prize at the ARD International Music Competition has already kick-started so many careers – this is also true for Quatuor Arod, which made its international breakthrough after winning in 2016 and debuted as a »Rising Star« at the Elbphilharmonie in 2019. The Bayerischer Rundfunk writes: »This string quartet plays technically at an outstanding level – in a league with the very best.« Whether it perhaps adds a soft spot for Bach chorales to this? The four Frenchmen have already released 36 videos with these short baroque pieces, sometimes as an encore and sometimes as a ritual at the start of their rehearsals.
