Storm Surge Tour: Summer cycling tour focusing on storm surges and coastal protection. Experience a diverse cycling tour along the Elbe River and learn exciting facts about storm surges and coastal protection firsthand! We start in Glückstadt and cycle via Bielenberg to Kollmar, where we make our first stop at the information boards. We continue over the impressive Krückau Barrage, along the Krückau River to Germany's smallest ferry – the Kronsnest ferry. Here, you can take a short break before crossing to the other side of the Krückau River. The route back to Glückstadt takes us through the idyllic towns of Neuendorf and Moorhusen.
